About the role
As the AusPac Blast Design & Execution Specialist – Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts across the AusPac region. You’ll manage the opportunity pipeline, engage directly with Customers, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver impactful digital solutions and also drive continuous improvement in Customer engagement systems and processes.
This role will join our team in Brisbane, QLD and be required to travel to Customer sites and attend external meetings and conferences.
What you will be doing
- Leading Customer sales engagements from lead generation to contract closure using CRM tools.
- Developing tailored proposals and negotiating contracts aligned with growth targets.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Providing market and competitor intelligence to ensure strategic positioning.
- Conducting financial analysis to support budgeting and profitability goals.
- Supporting the rollout and commercialisation of emerging technologies.
- Collaborating with development teams to refine digital solutions based on customer feedback.
What you will bring
- Degree in Mining Engineering or similar, with 3–5 years’ industry experience.
- Strong understanding of mining processes and digital technologies.
- Proven experience in consultative sales and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP C4C) and SAP ERP.
- Analytical mindset with PowerBI skills preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the region (25–50%).
