About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager - Human Resources Business Partnering to join our AusPac team. This role is pivotal in driving key people initiatives and supporting our business functions, supply chain, and discrete manufacturing sectors. The location for this role is flexible between Melbourne, Kurri Kurri (Newcastle), and Brisbane.
As a key player in our HR team, you will partner with D and C suite stakeholders to deliver strategic HR business solutions. You will support multiple VPs and Senior Managers with HR business partnering, including direct leadership, guidance, and mentoring of an HR advisor. Leading DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives and projects focused on attraction and retention, you will drive strategic business initiatives and provide HR expertise. You will also have direct peer access to our internal ER Manager who provides ER strategy and advice, including across existing Enterprise Agreements.
You will also have access to Orica's Centres of Excellence and experts in various HR functions, including People Services, HR People Advisory, Organisational Capability, Talent and Sourcing, Learning, Performance & Reward, Organisational Effectiveness, Legal Counsel, and Risk & Assurance. These resources will be your 'tools in the belt,' aiding your excellence and enabling you to deliver impactful People solutions to our AusPac business.

What you will bring
- Proven experience in HR business partnering within heavy industry (mining / MFG) or similar industries.
- Relevant HR qualifications.
- Experience in HR business partnering within various functions.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
