About the role
We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a dedicated Lead – Warehouse & Distribution to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team committed to meeting customer supply needs safely, reliably, and efficiently.
You’ll collaborate closely with carriers, planning, manufacturing, business management, and commercial teams, all while focusing on operational excellence. Our goal is to become the trusted partner of choice for our customers.

What you will be doing
- Support the delivery of Business Management and Supply Chain strategy within the region;
- Collaborate with planning to monitor and adjust to market demand requirements;
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance, driving best practices;
- Identify and execute opportunities to optimize supply chain performance and customer satisfaction;
- Manage third-party storage of Orica materials with formalized supplier management processes;
- Oversee relationships with carriers, focusing on contract adherence and cost mitigation;
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring alignment with performance goals and succession planning.
What you will bring
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, understanding the end-to-end process from manufacture to blasting;
- At least 3 years in leadership roles, demonstrating strong leadership and teamwork capabilities;
- Proven business intellect, financial acumen, and achievement orientation;
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills;
- Proficiency in computer skills, including SAP or similar systems, and sound analytical abilities;
- Resilience, flexibility, and the courage to make thoughtful, considered decisions.
