About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Coordinator - Inventory to manage the planning, coordination, administration, and documentation of inland product transportation based on daily customer site demand.
This position is located in our beautiful Cannon Hill office and working from Monday to Friday.
What you will be doing
- Analyses procurement data and collaborates with stakeholders to validate opportunities and manage risks.
- Schedule product movements based on manufacture capability and carrier availability to meet customer site demands.
- Responsibility for various administration tasks including delivery docket and road freight order processing, invoicing and stock movements within various systems.
- Liaise directly with manufacture plants and carriers to problem solve schedule changes and dynamic regional requirements.
- Maintain relationships with various carriers to meet regional needs.
- Support delivery of Business Management and Supply Chain strategy within the region.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, encouraging drive towards best practice and ensuring full compliance.
- Maintain system housekeeping for transportation documents, support inventory reconciliation across the region, and minimize logistics and storage costs.
What you will bring
- Experience in logistics and distribution roles inclusive of scheduling activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to effectively multitask.
- Customer focused with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge and experience with SAP or similar systems.
- Understanding of SSAN requirements.
- Demonstrates resilience and flexibility by adapting well to change and adversity.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
