About the role

We’re seeking a Systems and Verification and Validation Engineer to join our Product Development Team in Brisbane. You’ll ensure our world-class technology meets the highest standards through rigorous requirements definition, validation, and interface management. This is not a traditional QA or project management role—it’s about driving robust engineering principles and V&V processes to enhance delivery, reliability, and product quality.

What you will be doing

• Leading the V&V process, ensuring high engineering standards.
• Defining system requirements and overseeing interface management.
• Mentoring engineers in best practices for traceability, design evidence, and validation.
• Facilitating integration and testing across electrical, mechanical, and software teams.
• Ensuring global industry compliance and delivering reliable innovations to customers.

What you will bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or related.
• 5+ years’ experience in systems integration, V&V, and requirements of industrial systems (e.g. mining, defence, agriculture, railways, automotive, etc).
• Expertise in Electro-mechanical systems, product development and test planning.
• Experience certifying products to international standards such as CE and FCC.
• Working knowledge of quality management principles (ISO9001, Lean, 5S, etc).

• Experience in developing and promoting business cases.
