About the role
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Digital Services Lead to join our GroundProbe Australian Operations team, based in Windsor, QLD. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support of Orica Digital Solutions and GroundProbe digital platforms at Customer and partner sites.
You will work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure seamless integration, performance, and reliability of digital systems that improve operational insight and productivity for our mining customers.
This position combines technical expertise in Azure, networking, and system integration with strong communication and customer engagement skills.
What you will be doing
- Installing, configuring, and supporting Orica and GroundProbe digital systems within Azure cloud environments.
- Managing and optimising databases, data pipelines, and API integrations between digital platforms, Customer systems, and third-party applications.
- Designing, deploying, and troubleshooting network configurations, including Starlink connections, VPN tunnels, and Mikrotik devices.
- Supporting commissioning, upgrades, and testing of digital solutions in both surface and underground mining environments.
- Delivering training, demonstrations, and workshops for Customers and internal teams.
- Collaborating with Product Development, R&D, and Support teams to implement improvements and Customer-driven enhancements.
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to ensure reliable system performance and data integrity.
- Assisting Sales and Commercial teams with digital capability demonstrations and proposal preparation.
- Maintaining clear documentation for installations, configurations, and integrations.
What you will bring
- Industry certifications in Microsoft Azure and Networking (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in digital system deployment, cloud and networking, and software support.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Azure (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, SQL Database).
- Strong background in network setup and troubleshooting, including Starlink, VPN, and Mikrotik routers (highly regarded).
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, VLAN, firewall, and routing configuration.
- Experience in software support, troubleshooting, and digital system deployment.
- Cert. IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
- Experience delivering technical training and workshops for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A current passport with unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- The ability travel domestically and internationally.
