About the role

Join Our Team as an Operator – Packaged and Bulk ANE/ANFO

Take charge of a vital role in our manufacturing operations, where safety, precision, and service excellence come together. As an Operator, you will:

• Safely and efficiently operate Packaged and Bulk ANE/ANFO production systems and equipment.
• Ensure high-quality output that meets production and distribution targets.
• Deliver exceptional service to our customers by maintaining consistent product standards.
• Work in a safety-first, environmentally conscious environment, aligned with Orica’s values.
• Apply your skills and competence to support smooth, reliable manufacturing processes.

What you will be doing

• Ensure Product Quality
  Monitor production processes and raw materials to ensure all products meet agreed customer specifications.
• Report Non-Conformances
  Immediately escalate any deviations by reporting to Shift Leaders and raising Red Cards for non-compliant products.
• Support Corrective Actions
  Actively participate in investigations and resolution of quality issues to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain Process Integrity
  Operate equipment and systems safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Promote Safety & Compliance
  Uphold safety and environmental standards throughout all manufacturing activities.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement
  Provide feedback and insights to enhance production quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you will bring

• Up to 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Basic knowledge of systems like SAP, SuccessFactors, and Concur.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to safety.
• Able to follow procedures and work under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
