About the role

The Lead - Technical Services leads the Area Technical services team and develops initiatives focussed on delivering measurable value to customers and sustainable revenue to Orica.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities Adheres to Orica Safe Operating Procedures Audits competency of TS personnel to comply with Group Standards Creates Customer Technical Relationship & Engagement Plans Contributes to Customer needs and business development opportunity identification Leads a team to deliver technical projects that deliver measured value to customers Develops technical method statements for customer tender responses Supports Territory Managers in customer value added presentations Coordinates Product application stewardship Trains and accredits customers in Orica courses

What you will bring

BAND E PEOPLE LEADER
* Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
* Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
* Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.

BAND E TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
* Minimum 7 years experience post professional qualification.
* Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.

Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)

Your qualifications

Insert tertiary qualification required for role (e.g. Accountant must have a tertiary degree in an Accounting discipline, an Engineer must have a tertiary degree in an Engineering discipline)
