About the role


We are  inviting  applications for the role of  Hypercharge Technician. This position will operate on an 8/6 roster on a FIFO basis from either Perth, Brisbane or Darwin to the Newmont Tanami mine site.

The Hypercharge Technician will work within our team of Underground Hypercharge experts, to ensure safe and productive operations of Hypercharge at Tanami mine site.

Other than working on our HcD equipment, you’ll also be task to perform surface magazine keeping, emulsion pod transfers UG, manufacture gasser, explosive transfers UG.

What you will bring:

 

  • Most importantly, sharing our most important value - safety is the priority, always;
  • Strong background on Hydraulics, HD Equipment, Auto Electrician.
  • Excellent knowledge in underground Drill & Blast process;
  • Strong fault finding and mechanical aptitude essential 
  • Technical experience with Danfoss, IFM desirable 
  • Strong work ethic and able to work unsupervised 
  • Underground mining experience in charge up is a bonus, especially experience operating Hypercharge units.
  • Good computer skills
