About the role

 

We're excited to annouce an opportunity for a talanted and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Magazine Keeper!

 

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our magazine operations, ensuring the safe and efficient dispatch and receipt of finished products, detonators, tubing, and raw materials. You will work in full compliance with national transport regulations for explosives and uphold our high standards for safety, health, environment, and quality. 

 

This position will be based at Co Down, Northen Ireland and reporting to Senior Site Supervisor.

What you will be doing

 

  • Ensuring the Distribution Safety schedule is met and providing feedback to operators;
  • Managing equipment breakdowns to minimize disruptions;
  • Communicating progress on goods dispatch and receipt;
  • Coordinating documentation flow with site Distribution teams; 
  • Monitoring explosives limits in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Maintaining accurate magazine inventory records;
  • Supporting timely and cost-effective product delivery;
  • Delivering consistent service levels;
  • Ensuring full compliance with explosives and inventory regulations.

What you will bring

 

  • No prior experience needed - training will be provided;
  • HGV Driving Lisence is a plus but not a necessity;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
