SAP Solution Architect - Success Factors

Reporting to the IT Applications Service Lead, you will be the SME for the SuccessFactors/HR solution and define high level solution designs to ensure they are comprehensive, robust and accurately describe project implementation. You will outline functional and technical specifications of the solution including end-to-end processes, applications, application interfaces and infrastructure and ensure conformance of designed solutions to business requirements including business, stakeholder, functional, non-functional and transition requirements and to Orica’s standards and principles.

You will liaise with key business stakeholders within asset management to validate business requirements; ensure those are embedded into solution designs; maintain continuous engagement and communication with key stakeholders to provide status updates and solution designs. To help you to be successful in this role, you will collaborate closely with IT Application Leads to ensure solution designs are aligned with IT system design specifications, liaise with IT PMO Leads and IT Project Leads to provide technical advice in the development of project plans, and engage with IT Service Validation & Testing Lead to resolve defects raised with respect to solution design.

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline
  • At least 10 years in a SAP HCM implementation and support role
  • A minimum of 3 years in a SuccessFactors experience with at least two full cycle implementations in a complex global organisation/s
  • Expertise in 3 or more SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central a must), and proficiency in other modules such as Recruitment, On-boarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compensation, Payroll etc
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex business requirements and effectively translate into applications solution
  • Proven ability to design, optimise and integrate processes across disparate systems
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate to technical and lay audiences
  • Proven skills delivering continuous improvement initiatives
